Job Description

Location: Port-Harcourt
Industry: Oil and Gas

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals and employee development needs.
· Collaborate with department heads and HR partners to assess training needs and prioritize learning objectives.
· Design engaging and effective learning materials including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and other resources.
· Coordinate training logistics such as scheduling sessions, booking venues, and managing training budgets.
· Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, ensuring high-quality delivery and participant engagement.
· Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback analysis, assessments, and performance metrics.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously enhance training offerings.
· Manage learning management systems (LMS) and other training platforms to ensure seamless delivery and tracking of learning activities.
· Provide guidance and support to internal trainers and subject matter experts involved in training delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Proven experience as a Learning and Development Coordinator or similar role with 6-7 years of progressive responsibility.
· Experience in the oil and gas industry is an added advantage.
· Working knowledge of an Applicants Tracking System (ATS) or SAP HR
· Strong instructional design skills with the ability to create impactful learning materials.
· Excellent facilitation and presentation skills with the capability to engage diverse audiences.
· Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.
· Certification in training and development (CIPMN, SHRM, CIPD, CIPM) certification
