Job Description

Our client in the Engineering space is looking to hire an experienced Service Technician with a proven track record in the field.

Job Title: Service Technician 
Location: Lagos
Industry: Engineering 
Budget: 280kGross

Responsibilities
-Responsible for repairing, maintain and calibrating power tools
-Carry out maintenance using provided Service Information System Software
-Troubleshoot, identify needed parts and fix tools independently
-Responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings – Mechanical and Electrical
-Repair heavy duty hammers up to 27kg

The candidate must have;
-Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role.
-Minimum of secondary school leaving certificate (SSCE).
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings – Mechanical and Electrical
-Good knowledge of workshop process and procedures
-Ability to troubleshoot, identify the needed parts and fix the tools independently
-Maintenance knowledge of Measuring tools and Calibration is required – Rotation Laser and Optical Level
-Ability to repair heavy duty hammers up to 27kg
-Ability to use provided Service Information System Software in carrying out maintenance
-Attention to details is very important
-Ability to exercise patience and discipline with customers
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and oral
-Good Computer knowledge, with specific knowledge of Ms. Excel
